CRAFTS FOR
CRITTERS! |

"Crafts For Critters" is an ongoing
fund-raising project to raise funds for the Carl W. Nelson Animal Shelter's new
building. We will be creating gift baskets at events which the customer will
design themselves with items purchased from other vendors, along with items we
have on our table. For more information about helping with this project contact
Lorrie.
Who is needed:
Crafts People
Shoppers - people who will scout out resale shops, garage sales, etc. for deals
on supplies
Bakers-to make dog treats or other non-perishable items for baskets
Sewing People-for sewing linings for baskets and other items
Kit makers - someone who is willing to put together kits for projects
Anyone who has a desire to help abandoned animals or has time on their hands to
fill
What is needed:
Any hand made item-not limited to animal items
Scraps of fabric for pillows, basket liners and trim
Yarn-small, leftover amounts are great for toys and plastic canvas
Plastic canvas-even left over pieces can be used
Wood pieces to paint-any size or condition, new or used-no large furniture

Ribbons-all shapes and sizes
Artificial flowers-all shapes and sizes
Unusual Coffee mugs-no chips or cracks
Wine Glasses (pairs)-no chips or cracks
Flower pots for decorating-no plastic or chipped/cracked
Trims for decorating-rick rack, seam bindings, anything along those lines
Jars with lids-for baking mixes
Ziplock bags for kits
Baggies (non-ziplock or fold-over tops) to be used as basket holders
Gently used blankets and towels
Broken bits of chains, beads and other unwanted jewelry items
Storage bins with lids
Loan or donation of large tables (60x30)
